While searching an old PC for some pics to place on facebook I came across a couple of my old 93XJ. It was Canyon Blue Metallic with the 4.0L, AW4 tranny and 231 tcase. Had a 2" lift, ran 30" BFG ATs on stock 15" wheels, a Rusty intake and 3" flowmaster exhaust. Also had a SYE and a Woody custom rear driveshaft. That old XJ took me all over the mid-Atlantic chasing the perfect whitewater waves. Had over 250k miles on it when I traded it in on my 04' WJ Freedom Edition.
Sure do miss the old girl! :(

Nice XJ. I started my Jeeping with an XJ too. I loved that thing. They are great little vehicles and with just a small lift and bigger tires, they will do fantastic off road.

I have the best of both worlds. Just bought an 05 WK limited AWD in very excellent low miles condition to supliment my 96 XJ Country 4x4. Love XJ's there's just something about the old box Cherokee's. I had an 03 Grand that was totaled recently. Never liked driving it. I always drove the xj. The new WK drives real nice and has a bunch of nice conviences but I still drive the XJ the most. It's noisy, it rides like a crate and the ergonomics are from the 60's but I just love the thing.
