I had them on my 98 xj before i parted it out. I love those tail lights. I used Halogen reverse bulbs and RED LED bulbs, the style of LED bulb that are completely wrapped in LEDs.

Rob, I think V-LEDS would work nice on those tailo lights from eBay or the stock ones.
Go to v-leds.com and check them out. They also have some square LED boards that might be able to get retrofited into those housings if you bake them and open them.
There's other cheaper alternatives to v-leds out there but the output and quality of the v-leds is just second to none ;).

Very nice, Im still thinkin of doin a 4.5" lift for now n do 33x12.50x15 mud rovers or discoverers stt. Im doin the same rear tire carrier from detours, and the front is gonna be from hanson along with the fender flares. Jst got to look for a d44 rear and put on the tran drop skid. My goal is to do a 6.5" lift and try to shoe horn 35s under the body. I still got a few more goodies i still have to get at a local junk yard by my girls house like factory skid plates from an older cherokee. Ill post some pics soon of the lights when i get them to. Thanks Kyle for the boost in insparation.

Dont lift it that much. its 100% unnecessary. In my wheeling club most people run 4.5" for 35s and 3.5" for 33s. I just happen to have gotten a deal on the 5.5".
If you do a 4.5" you can keep alot of things under the jeep verys imply such as control arms and angles and such. Bump stop front and rear and trim the fenders. i can give you lessons in good fender trimming so it does not look like ass and so you can easily fit 33s on 3.5" of lift and it wont look like a hack job.
We actually had a member running 37s on 3" lift.
What you want is low center of gravity and big tires. If you want more info/help/ advise i will be more then happy to save the world from another OMG i need huge lift for 35s. BTW, going bigger in lift and bigger in tires also means alot more stress on the jeep, joints, bearings, and alot more money.
If i had it my way id re build and go 33s and 3.3" or 4.5" max, in case i decided to stuff 35s.
I can show you pics of bunches of these setups if you want.

i would really appreciate it kyle, i really dont feel like goin crazy spendin money. some guy i asked said to me one time to do 33's i have to do a 6.5" lift but wit a 4.5 i think im more then good. the 35's is a maybe but im not sure if i wanna go 6.5 maybe a 5 flat n for that i can do do 5" springs for the front n jst get 1.5" shackels for the rear. If you read JP magazine, look at the January issue, heres the link n hey mario look at what they have the srt8 racing against. http://www.jpmagazine.com/index.html
