Manual and power telescoping package and additional seat adjustments more than compensate.

Standard or optional roof rails adversely impact aerodynamics and FE for many customers that do not use the feature (2-3% aero loss). We developed a MOPAR sets of rails that integrate well with the side rails and perform well in load testing for those customers that desire the feature.

Re: 9/8/10 Jeep engineers chat

80% of all WK's and Commanders have scratched door glass and liftgate glass due to the poor design of what I call the door glass outside squeegee and the the fact that the rear wiper start well before the washer even reaches it.

Have these issues been corrected?

Questions:

1)It appears that many of us who ordered Overlands have seen them built, only to see them languish in quality control inspections (sometimes for weeks). Was something found that needed correction, and if so, what was it?

2)A source at Avi – Vls told me the current batch of GC’s just got back from “repair” and that “they all went out but were back now” can you tell me what the repairs were? Were they having TSBs applied or is there something else we should know?

3) What is the process after a vehicle is "shipped to storage", what stages are involved? why some vehicles are "stuck" for 2-3-4 weeks?

4) Is Jeep planning to allow the customers check the status of a vehicle online?

Good question.....We started with simple plastic liners and developed the acoustic liners to improve road isolation and NVH. It made a significant improvement on salty and gravel roads. This technology is used on some very expensive luxury models. We tested this design in all snow, mud, and Jeep environments to ensure it lasts. They work very well in car washes and sprayers.
