Re: '12 Pentastar #2 misfires

And just got back with new head. Feels smoother now and MPG seems to be back.

A month after first P0302 CEL went out it it was back & took to dealer. Test showed 35% leakage in #2. TSB requires 25% for new head.

Interesting that on the paperwork, the new head has no part number, just "PK36". Anyone know what this means ?

It does match the other people mentioning it occuring between 22k and 24k miles and not being time related. I suspect it may have taken the high side on mine because I tend to drive gently.

The new alternator is also working fine & am seeing 13.3-13.4v at about 1400 rpm (45 mph). Invoice says it is a part number 08028003. Is this at least a 160A alternator ?

BTW note that the TSB currently includes an oil change and filter under warrenty.

Should mention that Central Florida Chrysler Jeep did their usual "no surprises" job. Took it in Thursday morning, was done Friday night, and son dropped off on way to work & I picked it up first thing this morning.
