12V fuse keeps blowing out??

Every time I use a tire inflator in the 12V outlet underneath the dash, it runs for a minute or so and then it blows out. Every single time. I tried it with two different inflators, and it still happens.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: 12V fuse keeps blowing out??

um. seems like your air inflator is using too much juice

edit: seems like thats not much help

Have you tried using the rear port?

Get an adapter to clips then use the jump terminals under the hood.

Thanks, Governor, that sounds like a good idea. What type of adapter is that?

BESTEK 12V 24V Battery Clip-on Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Adapter 1.2m/3.9ft Length Extension Cord https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JOY6U7U..._R84PybRXHAJK6

Most inflators pull too many amps for cig outlets...
