15' GC Summit wheel touch up paint

20160815_133433 - Copy.jpgI have a California Platinum option with the Hyper Silver looking wheels. I can not find a paint code for the wheels. Service manager indicated that he could not find/look up a paint code for the wheels. I believe the wheel was manufactured by Hollander 9138B. During a recent 4 wheel alignment one wheel was chipped (small) on the edge. I am hoping to find the correct touch up paint. I would prefer to touch up at this time, the damage has been noted on the repair order and dealer will replace the wheel in the future if necessary. If touch up is not available, the dealer will furnish a new wheel. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks to all in advance!

JC

I can't help you with the color code but I had similar damage to a wheel on my previous 2012 Overland. Even though I eventually found the correct color code, and had a paint touch up guy try 3 different times to match it up, never could get it correct. Has something to do with the wheels being painted first with a black base coat, then the color coat and then a clear coat. Anyway, I finally got fed up and ordered a new wheel. If the alignment place will pay for a new wheel, I'd go that route. But I bet it will cost at least $500 for the new wheel and the tire changeover and balance. If going for the new wheel, I bet the shop owner will give lip about the new wheel price. But hopefully he will stick to his word.
