Re: 15 srt headlights foggy

Have never noticed this in my '14 Summit and I live in an area with constantly changing temps, humidity, precipitation etc etc. Looks like yours have a sealing issue I guess. That would be covered under warranty and the headlights would be replaced. Only down side is you have to let the dealership take apart the front of your almost new SRT to install the new headlights.

Re: 15 srt headlights foggy

That's been an issue with all of the HID headlights. Some are minor like yours, others literally have water drops running down the inside.

There are other threads out here on this. Here's one...
Condensation in headlights

There was a TSB issued for that last year. They show examples of both. Yours would not qualify for replacement based on your pic.

Re: 15 srt headlights foggy

My dealer replaced both of my headlights on my first 15' SRT for exactly what you have. The first dealer I brought it up to did nothing because they said if it goes away after 20 minutes of the headlights being on there is no problem. I was told fca would not replace them under warranty. I took it to another dealership and they had both units replaced no questions asked. Maybe some dealerships just have more pull than others. I just didn't find it acceptable in a $70k vehicle. It makes it look cheap.
