1996 Jeep 4.0L problem
My distributor gear has been sheared for the 4th time by the cam shaft I'm guessing? Why that is happening is the issue. When the problem first started. Right after I replaced the oil pump. A week later the timing chain went out then I had someone more knowledgeable do it. While replacing the oil pump I had used the harmonic balancer to lift up the engine to take off the oil pan without realizing I was lifting the whole Jeep because I didn't unhook the motor mounts. I could use some help before looking at my oil pump and looking into the balancer.
