So my Yellow engine light came on and wouldn't turn off.
I have a 2103 GC V6 Limited.
Next thing, I'm on the highway, I pop it into Sport Mode to overtake, speedo went from 95 down to 60, lost all power, hence limp mode :(
Drove to the dealership so they could throw it on the machine to find out what was going wrong with the car, mentioned a few things like gaskets etc.
So I got the car back whilst I waited 2 hours later and took off home.
All good, no light!
just as I pulled up at home the Engine light came on again!
I checked the oil, none, it was all over my driveway!
I looked under the car and it was covered in oil!
There's my problem!
So I managed to fill the engine with 2 liters of oil this morning and head back to the stealership!
Same guy from y'day, says to me," I knew you would be back"
Me- whys that
Guy- the mechanic came out half an hour after you left and mentioned there was a leak! Could be the sump plug washer?
So no phone call to let me know the problem!
Anyway it's 2 days away from coming back to me, has anyone else had this problem with oil leak, is it a fault or am I up for the charge, bearing in mind its still under 3 years old.

Can't believe dealerships allow this to happen when they already knew of a problem. And yet they are also the first to deny they are at fault. SMH.

These are instances where Jeep Cares should be participating actually.

So I was supposed to go pick it up today, the oil filter housing as well as the sensors have been replaced, however there is a secondary leak which maybe coming from the engine?
The Turd, I mean jeep is still under warranty so they are going to pull it apart today and tmmw to find where the leak is.
I will have the car back tmmw fixed, or I might have to go back and have the head gaskets re done, worse case, it's a $11K job for Jeep and I'll have no car for a week!
Right now I just want to walk away from it and go to something else.
