2011 Grand Cherokee External Light Installation

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee - I want to install PIAA 5600 chrome fog lights which have a harness provided. Some questions to answer - is there a power source under the hood other than the aux battery post? Can I mount to that? What is the best way through the firewall? Is there an additional pass-through, do I piggyback or drill a hole? Where is the best spot to connect the hot for the inside switch? Any advise is appreciated. Thank You.
