2011 HEMI - Shakes going over bumps
I have a 2011 V8 Grand Cherokee that I just bought Certified Pre-Owned this past Friday. I did not notice this before I drove it off the lot, but after doing a substantial amount of driving I finally noticed that the Jeep has some unusual-feeling vibration when going over bumps. At first I thought it was normal, since it is a longer vehicle. I've felt a similar sensation in full-size pickup trucks, where you can distinctly feel the front end hitting the bump before the rear wheels.
However, after doing some research, I find a lot of people say that their GC feels very solid. To me, going over a bump feels more like a slight "shudder" in most cases. It isn't anything that feels dangerous by any means, but it also isn't pleasant.
Is this normal behavior? Or should I possibly be considering having something looked at before my 3-month/3,000 CPO warranty expires?
A little more detail
- Tow package (auto-leveling suspension)
- No aftermarket suspension mods or lift kits
- No Quadra-Lift
- 42,500 miles
Thanks in advance, everyone!
EDIT: I wanted to clarify that I am not noticing any particular noise when this happens, except the expected bump. No creaking or anything like that.
