So I just got my new TIPM installed today and I thought all my troubles were over for the moment. Stupid me. Once I got home I parked and locked the doors as I normally do with the key fob. Once I went back outside I unlocked it with the key fob again and all of my doors unlocked with the exception of the drivers side door. I had to use the key to gain entry. Once inside I locked the doors and pulled the handle on the drivers side to make sure I could get out. It works fine from the inside when you use the handle. My issue is it won't open/unlock from the outside at all unless I use the key. Any suggestions? I used search trust me. But all the results are issues with the door not opening from the inside either which isn't my issue.
Re: 2011 jeep grand cherokee drive door won't open.
One day my rear passenger door lock wouldn't do anything, sucks bc I had to move the kids car seat behind me. Anyway, took it to the dealer and they had to replace the door lock actuator. You may have a bad actuator also.
