Re: 2011 Overland w/Blown Engine 300 miles

Would you like to change your name and/or a reword of the title? Big jump to conclusion when you were pissed at the vehicle it seems like?

Glad all seems to be okay though!

Out of curiosity, wouldn't a blown motor produce blue smoke?

@2011JeepGCblown These things were not made to be babied, do a search on engine break in. The owners manual has some tips as well.
+1. In fact, the owners manual states for you to go WOT from time to time.

It depends on how it blows. Mine produced no smoke...basically a clink and that was that. Luckily, Chryco stands behind their product and covered my motor with a copay.

Not to sidetrack either.. but ^^^ I was going to PM you but noticed you wouldn't be able to respond as you don't have 10 posts yet. But yes, they are mopar chrome tubular sidesteps.

Check out this link to a forum vendor, chrome is an option, or black..
