2012 Grand Cherokee - car wash

My 2012 Grand Cherokee doesn't like car washes that pull the vehicle. Once in position, you shift into neutral and let the car wash pull you through.
When the spray hits the windshield, the wipers turn on (not rain sensing)
Then the traction light comes on along with the battery light.
Halfway thru the wash, the wipers come on again about 50% of the time, this time the seat belt light and air bag lights come on.
When the wipers turn off, the seat belt and air bag lights go off.
At the end of the wash, the traction light and battery light are still on.
These go out at the next start up.
Dealer can't find anything wrong.
Thanks
Frank

Sounds like water getting into the electrics, or perhaps a short. A problem in one device could affect the operation of others in the WK2 electrical bus like architecture.

Good luck on finding it. These gremlins often become more permanent faults that are easier to locate.

You are keeping the engine running through the wash?

I have washed my 13 GC in several types of washes (pulled, touch, touchless, etc) and havent had this issue. I agree sounds like water getting into an electrical component. did you try a different car wash?

Side question...any benefit to jacking up the car using quadra lift into the highest position to get the dirt from the wheel wells out or do you see any potential issues?

No issues here, my local carwash is a track drive system and I ride through it with the engine idling in neutral and no issues.

Are you sure it's not because the key fob is in your pocket? If it is... The lights will turn on when you get near the door handle, tailgate etc
