Hi guys
While driving, the battery light came on and in less then 5 min the power on the car was totally gone. Luckily I was able to make it to my driveway.!
I've try to jump start it but the jumpers were melting in less then 10 sec after I connected them.
I realized it has to be a big short. It was the alternator! They have a P60 recall on this by I've been told that my car is not part of it.
I changed the alternator, start the car but the second I disconnected the jump cable the engine died. Charged the battery, checked the alternator the same problem. Decided to try a second one. Same problem.
Question:
Would be possible that the alternator short fried the PCM?
