2012 Overland, 20k miles

105 degrees outside, hvac puts out 95 degree air; thermostat set at 78.
Used to do better but was never really cold in this summer , desert heat.
My 2006 Chevy HHR does much better.
Should it do better? Still under warrantee.

Yes, it should be better... even in NV.

Re: 2012 Overland, 20k miles

I picked mine up for service and noticed on my receipt they did an HVAC flash. When I asked them why? They said it would improve my AC performance. It was in March before I was using it, but I haven't had any issues before or after this flash. Might want to take it to the dealer for a flash.

Re: 2012 Overland, 20k miles

I had the hvac flash done a while ago but the ac got somehow screwed up after they performed a transmission flash ( the one for the bump at low speeds) . I always had mine on 70 and it was blowing hot air. Went back to the dealership, they attached their device to the data port and remotely calibrated the sensor...took only 2 minutes and it was fine since.

Re: 2012 Overland, 20k miles

Took it in to dealer Monday. They topped off the freon ( 1/2 pound low they said) They also put in Dye but could not detect a leak. Said probably low from the factory.
Seems to work fine now, but weather has not quite hit the Temps like the other day.
