So far so good... this Overland has been pain free! I take really good care of it with regular oil changes every 5,000 km and all scheduled fluids being maintained. One thing annoying me as well as my neighbours I have is a "Screeching" sound in cold weather <-5 Celsius that started a year after I got the Jeep. I've taken it to the dealership and I even gave them video's. The dealership seemed perplexed and the end result was, well, nothing. The screeching sound will go away after a 30 to 60 seconds depending how cold it gets. Don't know if I read somewhere that it was related to the power steering fluid being too thick to flow through.
I've lived with it for a couple of years now and outside of the horrific noise there doesn't appear anything wrong with the vehicle. Now that the cold weather upon us my neighbours won't be happy especially when I get out early in the morning. The good thing about having this very loud screeching sound is when you hit the remote start you know if its started.
Don't know if anyone has come across the same thing and if there was a fix. I appreciate your input and my neighbours eagerly await resolution
