2013 shift points fixed with TSB

Like many people here, I've been extremely frustrated with the shift points on my V8 Summit and have been patiently waiting for Diablo to release a tuner so I can manually adjust them. I took my Jeep to the dealer on Monday to have a key replaced/fixed and told them about my disgust for how poor the downshifting is when you jump on the accelerator.

As luck would have it, apparently a TSB was released last week which fixed it, and I can tell you firsthand it feels the way it should have from the beginning now. No more erratic up/downshifts or having to drive in manual mode or tow/haul mode. I'm still hoping the Diablo will help with the low end torque, but I no longer feel ripped off or wanting to switch to an X5.

TSB is 18-027-13

Re: 2013 shift points fixed with TSB

Here's more detail, it appears it was hidden at the bottom of a TSB for some other random fixes. http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_1802713.pdf

Is this something they'll know to do if you bring your Jeep in for regular maintenance or do you have to mention it?

I am deployed right now so when I get home I'll bring my Jeep in... but I will be missing almost a year's worth of whatever changes they've made... just trying to make sure I get everything done.

I'd assume TSB's are only done when you have a specific issue you tell the dealer you're having. I'd just ask them to do this next time you bring it in.

Re: 2013 shift points fixed with TSB

I will have to keep this on my "to-do" list. I mean a chip for my 2013 would be real nice - but until then this will have to do. I am just tired of a lethargic Jeep that I know could be a total beast.
