I know my dealer has the latest update as they did the transmission flash. Dealer is close to my work and I purchased there, but might need to find a different dealer for service. I just don't get a god vibe dealing with them. I can tell they don't want to talk to me and always question me when I know more than they do...

I just got off the phone with Chrysler and was told they released a software update today to fix the problem, I am headed to the dealership now and will update later.

How long should this update take if I want to wait? I just got my jeep back after the christmas tree issue and they had it for 9 days, I don't want to drop it off in the morning and not have it all day.

Edit: TSB says 0.2 hours. Perfect.

Give him one more chance... there was a major blip this morning for 2 hours affecting numerous internal Chrysler Services and maybe they didn't want to say that. It is back up now.

In all fairness, that is what the tech get's paid. I would leave an hour to get it done. It doesn't always go perfectly so please no one yell at their service department becasue they couldn't get it done in 15 minutes.

I deal with this stuff all the time, the Star Mobile won't connect or the tech needs his password reset... Chrysler doesn't pay for the little problems they only pay the exact time to hook up the Charge system and program, that's it. Frankly even on a good day it takes a little more time to do this update WITHOUT the tech driving your car like Mario Andretti and wifi updating as he passes through the drive through at 60.

I did call back and they stated no update was out. They will contact me when its out...Sure...Needless say calling another dealer
