Re: 2014 AC not working with Remote Start

I just remote started this morning for the first time in a couple weeks and the AC wasn't on, but the fan was and blowing out warm air and the steering wheel heater was on. It was high 40's this morning, so I guess it's working correctly?

.

If only that was true

The problem I have is that I leave it on and it NEVER comes back on upon startup via ANY method.

Definitely not working like it should.

This was a big problem with the 2012 & 2013's and Chrysler issued a TSB to fix by flashing the ATC Module. It's hard to believe the issue was not resolved with the 2014's. Way to go Chrysler

Re: 2014 AC not working with Remote Start

I've been on the phone with chrysler and uconnect for about 30 mins. Seems like they weren't really aware this is an issue. More people need to call. First they thought it was just the app that wouldn't start up the AC. Then they said the key fob should be working fine. I said the fob doesn't work either. On hold again so that they can talk to "higher ups" and transfer me back to someone about the fobs.

I just want it to remember the setting I had it last on. If I shut the car down in auto, it should start in auto, regardless of whether I remote start using the app, fob, or I go in and start the car "manually".

Apparently I'm being redirected to a "Tier 2 Agent" that will be able to help. I'll keep you guys updated.

Everyone needs to call 877-855-4800 and bring up the issue. It seems like they aren't aware of a problem until more people complain.

Re: 2014 AC not working with Remote Start

A couple of us with software version 13.05.1 don't have a problem. I'd make sure they make note of your software version, just in case it makes a difference.

Chrysler said the same thing with the 2012 issue. They always say they aren't aware of a problem even if they are fully aware.

Re: 2014 AC not working with Remote Start

I have to find the thread for the 2012. I know there's a TSB for this but I thought it only applied to the ones with auto climate control.

Me, too.

Climate control is completely off upon remote start -- regardless of how things were left at the last engine shutdown.

I'll check my SW version, and will report back if it's different than others have reported here.

Very frustrating! Our 2008 Overland always worked perfectly on remote start -- you can just imagine what I'm hearing from my wife about this (it's her ride, and she didn't think we needed to replace the 2008).....

No it does not work for me even if you leave it in Auto. Is this working on your 2014? If so can you please let us know your software levels and if you had the Key Fobs programmed
