Should we ask the dealer to drop us to 13.05 software load?

I would say no. We only have a few responses, nothing conclusive. If it is the software, it might not be too hard for them to incorporate a fix.

Hopefully more people will respond with whether or not they have the problem and their software version.

Re: 2014 AC not working with Remote Start

I own the 2014 GC Summit 4X4, and I have the same issue: A/C comes on with remote start, but the fan speed is on lowest speed (or lower). I played with remote start over the weekend and left my car running in 80 degree sunshine, for about 10mins. When I peeked through the window, none of the display was lit up. I could hear the A/C cycling with the engine. As soon as I opened the driver door, the fan ramped up to the AUTO setting that I had when I left the car the night before. Maybe this is by design that remote start only runs the A/C at lowest speed until you enter the vehicle? Anybody have any thoughts? I have not asked the dealer yet.

Purely a guess. Since the engine is idling, maybe the system doesn't get cold enough to warrant the high speed fan. Maybe the air wouldn't cool enough.

It can't be that....if any jeep out there actually works then they all should.

The light on te auto button is off on remote start no matter what on mine.....but any time I start the at from the push button... The light is on and everything is where I left it.....gotta be a glitch somewhere

What do we need to do to get a TSB started by Chrysler? I have called them and opened a ticket, has anybody else did? We need to all call them. The numbers are in the previous pages.

Bring it to your dealer. If they can't solve it they should start a Star report. My dealer did it this morning on another issue.

Re: 2014 AC not working with Remote Start

I have a Kristen with Chrysler Uconnect looking into it. The next step for me is a dealer appointment (which I'm sure won't help). And she is supposed to email me any update she finds out. If you guys want to hop on the issue that I already brought up her contact info is: (877) 855 8400 Ext: 4718259 and she said she would be in the office from 8:45-5:15 EST for the rest of the week.

Maybe if more people call her specifically she will escalate it quicker?
