Re: 2014 Air Suspension

Mine does the same and Ive been dealing with it the same. I don't use Park/Exit mode often. I agree that it seems as if the QL system is operating properly but the indicators or sensors are not. This is currently the only problem Im having with the '14 so Im not complaining !

Yep, mine too. It will say raising or lowering for a looooong time even though it is actually done doing so. Software glitch, I'm sure.

I use the Exit/Entry mode every time I park and I have not had the cooling warning come on at all. Probably a sensor/computer issue for those who are getting this error without actually offroading in hot weather.

Re: 2014 Air Suspension

I got the air suspension cooling message this morning (about 5-6 times) on my less than 30 mile drive to work. I don't use the suspension settings much. I have only had the vehicle for 13 days! The service department at the dealer where I purchased the Jeep has never heard of this happening. Dropping it off tonight on my way home. Can the vehicle codes be checked remotely via satelite and the uconnect?

Re: 2014 Air Suspension

I only noticed the cooling message flash once. I had been on the highway awhile and had been in aero mode for at least 20 minutes, maybe longer. When I slowed the car raised to normal and worked normally when I raised it to ORI going onto the beach.

For those that have the raising message stay on for a long time, does it make a difference if you hit the up button, rather than waiting for it to automatically raise based on speed?

Re: 2014 Air Suspension

This happened to me today for the first time ('14 Overland with 2,700 miles) on my way to work (and the way home). Light came on like 10 times total and I wasn't touching anything.

Ugh, I'll watch it closely over the next couple of days I guess...

Re: 2014 Air Suspension

2014 V6 Overland - got the same error message as everyone else. Took to dealer, they couldn't get any error codes off it, so they would not put through any fixes.

Re: 2014 Air Suspension

got the 2014 overland in June 2013. Drove it home from the dealership and the air suspension light immediately came on. they told me it wasn't an issue and just bring it in when i can. Eventually brought it in mid-june and I haven't had my car since. It's been one issue after another. first the air suspension, then 3 weeks to get the part, then they needed to order another tube. Put the tube in and the air suspension light came on again. now they are ordering another valve. Needless to say, I've had my car for about 2 months now and I've actually only had it in my possession for 3ish weeks. And the best part, I didn't get the service warranty that gives me a loaner car while its in the shop because I've never needed one before. First jeep and can't say I'd get one again after going through all this with chrysler jeep. Hopefully this new part will solve the problem.

If you drive much on open roads with traffic lights where it toggles between aero mode at 56mph and then drops at the light, it can get warm enough to raise this warning.

You should be able to see that as the aero cuts on and off....

Wow this is painful, and seeing how it's probably just a software glitch having the dealer try to replace stuff that didn't need replacing in the first place was like opening a can of worms for you. I guess don't fix it unless it's broke applies here. Good Luck & Godspeed on getting her back soon

Re: 2014 Air Suspension

I had the cooling message today 2nd time since I owned it. I'm sure it was just a glitch since everything works fine. I will wait for a tsb I know better than to run to the dealer with this

Re: 2014 Air Suspension

yea at first the numnuts at the dealership sprayed ziebart underneath and one dealership said they sprayed the suspension sensors by accident, which they did. but that set the whole thing on a downward spiral because once they scraped away the residue from the sensors the warning message didn't go away. went and saw my car last week and the car was extremely slanted. but i'd rather them fix it than have a quadra-lift system that I can't use. the service center said it was a pretty serious issue so don't overlook the warning messages IMO.

I have owned enough of these to know that if you run to the dealer with every little thing not only will it drive you nuts it will also create more problems. I had the cooling down message twice in 4K miles and for less than 10 seconds each time. Just by the number of posts about this I can guess its just a software glitch. I will only take it in for this if I have a real problem with it or if they issue a tsb otherwise I already know its a waste of time.
