So I now have 500 miles on the new 14 Overland and have called Uconnect and Jeep about the following issues.
Rear tailgate does not sound warning when open and in drive
Uconnect froze when Ipod and SD card was plugged in at same time
Any file on SD card not recognised freezes the system does not skip over
Mapping is slow and cannot recognise voice commands for streets very well.
Heater controls take time to respond to a change in temp request.
Back button does not work on screen
Heat controls for steering wheel and seats is in a bad location they should have put switches in like the 2011
Wiper response to rain and snow is delayed when first coming on
When air suspension is raising car sometimes it shows a light raising but its not.
In eco mode the car is sluggish and gears seem to not shift correctly.

I am curious to see if others are having the same issues.

Only;

Heat controls for steering wheel and seats is in a bad location they should have put switches in ...

In eco mode the car is sluggish and gears seem to not shift correctly.

Pretty sure according to the OM this is as planned;

Wiper response to rain and snow is delayed when first coming on.

It makes sense because you want the windshield to really be wet before the wipers come on, to avoid smearing.

I would like to know why he feels the need to make 3 different threads of the same thing.. And people wonder why there are so many useless threads...case in point when you already have this posted 2 other places.

I've only noticed two issues with my UConnect 5 that I can think of off the top of my head:

One is, if I turn the audio off (which the physical push "audio off" button), when I turn off the car and turn it back on, the audio is on again. Not sure if this is intentional or not (in my opinion it shouldn't be), as if I turn the audio all the way down, it stays down.

The other issue is that Bluetooth pairing initially works with my smartphone, but if I leave the car and come back, they won't talk to each other again unless I delete the pairing on my phone and in UConnect and then do the initial pairing procedure again. However, I'm not entirely convinced that the latter issue is an issue with UConnect and not my smartphone...

One thing I noticed is that what you expect to be an off button for the radio is actually just a mute button. I guess with so much integrated into that head unit, it is never actually off.
