Took it in to get this and a bunch of other stuff done/sorted out. Not only did they not do ANY of the work I dropped it off for, but the one thing they claimed they fixed ,the AC issue, they didn't. Will call on Monday to try to get it sorted out. This is the worst service visit I have ever had, on the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased. Warm fuzzys all over on this one.

Re: 2014 climate control woes

Have 2014 Limited for almost 2 months now and airconditioning is not good. Needed ac compressor replaced week 1 due doa compressor. I still feel like the air temperature is never cold enough and the volume of air even on high is not what it should be. Anyone else having problems like this?

I've noticed mine won't cool the back sufficiently. Most back seat riders have complained about it being too hot back there, at least with the AC on auto mode, I'm sure I could force it cool enough on manual mode.

My 2012 Overland had real cold ac. My 2014 Summit ac performance is barely cutting it. For example, today it was only 77 degrees out and not humid. I checked the temp output at the center vents with an accurate digital thermometer and the coldest it got was 49 degrees. Seems to high. I would think it should have been in the high 30's to low 40's. I hate to see how it performs on a very rare 90 degree day.

Same here. Coming from a Mazda CX-9, the ac on the jeep seems weak. The air volume through the rear vent is too low and the air coming out of the vents is not cold enough. I shouldn't have to turn it on max ac when it's 85 degrees out. I'm not looking forward to how it performs when we hit 100. Fortunately those days are rate here.

Anyone have an update on this? I just got mine two days ago and the climate control shutting off every time is driving me nuts!

Still no fix on mine. Have a star case on it. It goes in the shop Tues. again to work on it.

Re: 2014 climate control woes

Im taking mine in for service next week for the update to the Uconnect and I hope they can do something for the ATC. Its very erratic. Sometime on ATC it blows through the vents and the floor. If I get in the Jeep after its been sitting for a while in the sun say in a parking lot the AC will blow through the vents and the floor on a medium speed. If I cut it off and back on it will come on at full speed and start cooling.Other times it has stayed on medium fan and then after driving ten or so miles at highway speeds it will all of sudden start blowing on high and freeze you out of there. So I know it something in the electronics.
I do not understand all these issues with the electronics. This is not my first Jeep or Chrysler. I'm afraid to say this might be one I don't keep for long!

Re: 2014 climate control woes

Hey guys, brand new to the forum, just got a 2014 GC Limited about two weeks ago (I love it!) and found this forum when I couldn't get the ac to turn when I remote started the vehicle. It won't turn on until I open the door. Anyway, I dropped it off at the dealer this morning, I will keep you all updated
