So far, everything to no avail.
Are they also checking for dynamic imbalance as well as out of round tires?

Re: 2014 GCs that have steering shimmy over 60MPH

My 2012 had the same problem...I have around 7500 miles on it now and it seems to have just went away. I had the cruise control set on 68 mph the other day on a 80 mile trip with no problem.

My friend has a base 11 Laredo with the 16 inch rims. He has no problem with the shaking or trans shifting...So i wonder if its the 20 inch rims are the cause of these problems. I know the overall diameter of all the wheel and tire combos are the same but maybe there is just a slight difference some how.

Back in 2007 I was going to buy a magnum R/T with 20 inch rims on it...Then I drove it on the highway and I thought the car was going to shake apart. I went and looked up the problem and there was a ton of complaints and the problem wasn't getting fix.

It seems most of you are getting resolution through tires. That's good. Mine so far is unresolved. Some actions are in motion to resolve. I will share the results when I know more.

V6 Summit with 20 inch wheels and about 1,100 miles. No shimmy here.

yes, they checked the road force and roundness of tires as well as checking the degree of roundness on the wheels to verify they weren't causing the issue. The Field Service engineer came last week to put the vibration analyzer on it. Vibration was not in the driveline nor did it appear to be coming from the power steering pump. Baffling at this point.

V6 Summit about 3000 miles. Perfectly smooth at all speeds. It has 20" wheels and Goodyear Fortera tires that come with this model.

So was the issue with the rims or tires? You probably won't know if the rims/tires were replaced at the same time. I suspect tires.

I test drove two 2014 Limiteds. Both had steering wheel vibration pretty much exactly at 69/70 MPH. I told the dealership about it and they fixed the one I eventually bought.
