2014 Grand Cherokee Overland Dashboard Christmas Tree

I hate to be one of those owners who only posts when he has issues, but....

my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree yesterday on the way home. it gave messages of "shifter service", "service transmission, continue in D. Do not shift or turn engine off", "service TPS"....when I got 5 minutes from my house, my windshield wipers came on by themselves, I suddenly couldn't go over 10mph and it could barely get the jeep to go. Then when I made it home, the jeep would not go in P, my shifter was just blinking and wouldn't move.

anybody have an issue like this?

Would need to be scanned to see what codes you have, I put a few transmission valve bodys in the early 2014's back in the day and unfortunately a few transmissions.

im about to lose it. my new eta is October 10th. dealership said Chrysler didn't have any clusters sitting around to send. this is ridiculous. who do I escalate this issue to in order to get things resolved quicker or to get away from this Jeep? I have never in my life had to deal with something like this and im kinda over it

Try sending a PM to JeepCares. They monitor this site and may be able to get things moving. We'll see if JeepCares cares.

Did you by your GC new or used? Did you pull a CarFax? If there has been other issues, contact your states AG's office. Every state has lemon laws, and they enforce them.

If this is a warranty issue; there are laws in most states regarding what the dealership and manufacturers are required to do if your vehicle is unavailable for your use for a certain period of time. Again, talk to the AG's office.

Hope this helps!

I actually did send a message to JeepCares, they responded and gave an update on my part....still didn't waive any fees for me.

So I picked up my jeep today...and I hopped in, jeep wouldn't start. I'm assuming cause it had been sitting in the same spot not being worked on for two months. Then I drove home, well I was headed home. Then the same issues I was having popped up again. This is complete BS. I've waited two months for nothing to really be fixed.
