Here's a new problem: coming home from up the coast, in normal ECO mode. I start up this steep hill, so tap the minus(-) paddle to change down to 7, then 6. Over the crest, I press and hold the plus(+) paddle to go back to auto mode and guess what?
It gears down to 5, then 4 and the revs hit almost 4000rpm!

I NOW HAVE 2 MINUS PADDLES!! WTF!!??

The only way to get it back to auto is to shuffle into sports and leave it there or flick it back to ECO.

I stopped and powered down, then back up but the problem remains. Both paddles shift down only and the press/hold revert to auto does not function.

There is no OFF, just MUTE, or change to different source.

As for throttle control, if you're not using it, turn Hill Assist Off, it helps.

After 6 months of trouble free ownership, I jumped into the GC last night to head out to replenish the beer stocks and on start up she went into melt down. Had the dash of death (lit up like a Christmas tree) after what seemed like a rough start up. Service Air Suspension System, Airbag System, Electronic Braking System, Antilock Braking System all up on the dash along with no speedo, parksense and weirdly no grid lines on the reverse camera!

Turned off the car and restarted with same thing occurring so decided to push on to Dan Murphy's as I was pretty thirsty by this stage. When I got back into the car after my purchase and restarted, all was good however now the engine light was on solid with no messages telling me what the issue was.

After the initial rough start I'm tipping that there is definitely an earth or some other power delivery issue (dodgy battery or excessive current draw from starter causing large voltage dip) that has caused this to occur. We have had the N58 recall done which I'm pretty sure includes the inspection of a body earth strap however maybe it needs to be revisited. The GC is going into the service department tomorrow so will report back the findings.

Yep had it applied about 6 weeks ago... well so the service department tell me. I've checked the ground wire and can see that the paint has been chipped off the nut so looks like it has either been removed or tightened however there still doesn't appear to be enough suitable contact area to the body given the size of the lug attached.

Hmmm. Sounds like we're all in for a bit of a ride during ownership....

They must have come across a reserve of Unobtainium!

Got a call on Friday to say that my Boot Handle had arrived, which coincided with my 1k check-up. So it's been dropped off this morning. Still having issues with the front park sensor's picking up 'Ghosts' so they are going to switch them to the back this service, and if the problem persists with them at the rear, they will just switch out the sensors, otherwise. It's back to the drawing board. They have 1 more try before I start to get annoyed...

Aside from that park assist (which is presently disabled), the car has been a dream, not a single problems with it. Couldn't be happier.

Had the transmission update 21-011-13 carried out and a few other issues looked at last week. Still have coolant overheating issue when towing under investigation but what a different car came back. Smooth transmission changes and a throttle response that allows a predictable and controlled acceleration. FANTASTIC

Picked up the GC this afternoon and the prognosis is that it was the ABS module that caused the issue with 15 recorded faults logged. The fix was to reflash the ABS module. Seems a bit odd that it has had the N58 recall done only to need another flash to fix what the N58 was supposed to fix.

I asked if they reflashed with the N58 software and was told that it was different... Buggered if I know, as long as it's fixed I'm happy.
