Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Problems - Australia

You then need to open the link that you receive by email, then copy the "IMG" link on the right, then paste that into your post.

You can't just post the link in the email... that'd be too easy.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Problems - Australia

Here are my pictures of my error.
When I started the car today I had this error.
The message to Service Air Suspension System comes first when the car is turned on. Or not when it is working OK.

Then when I select Cruise I get the message it is unavailable

Then when I select ACC I get the message it is unavailable.

It did it this morning again when I first started the car. I went to the shop and turned it off. When I came back out it failed to error and all systems worked as designed...

I have not yet uncoupled the negative terminal on the battery for a half hour yet but will do that now and get back this afternoon with the result.

Regards

Bloggs - what's the build date of yours?

This is probably completely unrelated to your air-suspension issues, but there was a TSB released October last year with regards to the air-suspension.

It's for early/mid '13 build dates though and whilst different messages thrown, I wonder if your issue is somehow related. Probably not though but here it is anyway:

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Problems - Australia

Are the fuses the same between the '12 and '14s?

I did a search and found this but the owner has a '12 not a '14.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Problems - Australia

My issue is not like the one listed for the '12. My issue occurs on startup and is always accompanied by unavailability of the ACC/FCW and Cruise/FCW. If I do not get the Air Suspension message on startup the Cruise/ACC/FCW all operate normally as well.

I have disconnected the battery for 45 minutes and reconnected it and the issue remained at the next startup, so a reboot has not fixed it.

JGC MY14, build date 25 July 2013, 8800km.
Suddenly I cannot turn on the cruise control, then lose all functionality of all the steering wheel control altogether. It's off to the dealer we go.....

Sounds like a damaged wiring harness or connector.

J hope this would fix it, but I am concerned that even the other steering wheel controls for VR, EVIC operation, audio controls, hands free, etc don't work either. I am hoping the steering wheel doesn't fail me either!!!!

Not sure....as soon as I start the engine all systems are OK, then the Crusie Control doesn't work, then the rest of the steering wheel controls fail. But after a restart after some time - all good, then it happens all over again.
