Just got back my truck from service department yesterday for a replacement of the transmission valve body. Then this morning the truck won't start. When I hit the start button, there is a message jumped out says "service transmission. Continue in D..." Pic is attached. Any one else experienced the same thing? The mileage is less then 5000 and it already been sent to service multiple times... Waiting for the towing now, don't know what will happen

Danny did they figure it out? I got this same message today. Battery went dead after leaving the doors open and radio on while getting the windows tinted. Jeep started going nuts with erratic honking of the horn? Jeep would not start. We charged the battery, still would not start. Luckily the shop I was at builds police cars. One of their techs used a code scanner to clear something and got it started! Thankful I did not have to get it towed. Now the check engine light is on. Curious as to what the dealer said about yours? Thanks!

it's due to the harsh shift down from 2 to 1. And I do find it is really hard to shift to 8 when the truck is running on a low speed let's say around 35mph after they flash the newest software and replaced the valve body. I'm not sure what is the appropriate RPM for engine when the truck is cruising around 35MPH, mine is between 1500 to 2000 RPM with shift level 7. I can only get to level 8 when I drive around 55mph.
8th at 35mph? Why? Besides seriously lugging the engine, you'd have practically no power. I don't think I've ever seen mine in 8th at that low of a speed...
In Eco mode and a warm engine I think there is little chance that you would ever up the MPG by manually shifting. If you are easy on the acceleration the transmission shifts sooner than I ever would and on the flat it probably shifts quicker than you could manually.
Just put it on the screen that shows your instantaneous MPG lean to drive in a manner that maximizes the readout. If you live in an area where a good amount of your driving is done where there is not much traffic you can really drive in a manner where your fuel efficiency is incredible.
