Not with how my foot would be into it. Maybe that'll be what I'll wish towards...

Re: 2014 Hemi Overland- 41kmi- keep or trade?

I was trading in my 5.7 2011 for a HA, until I was offered an SRT test drive and changed my order. Another $15k and you have one of the most powerful SUVs in the world, in the league of $130k plus vehicles. Gas mileage is much better than you probably expect, with 25+ cruising in ECO mode.

The main additional per mile expense is in tires and brakes, which must be replaced much more frequently.

Still, once you drive an SRT it's all over for the reasonable part of your brain. Even my fiscally conservative wife said, "Wow...maybe we should get this instead" after our first test drive.

So start Saving for the Real Thing

I did contact one dealer and told him if he showed me a $16k difference- ($34 trade and $50 for the High Altitude Hemi) I'd sign paperwork immediately. No response so I'm guessing that number is out.
I'd be happy at $18 and might do $20, but that's pushing it.
Just keep walking out. Sooner or later, you may get a bite, particularly if the Jeep
dealers start getting hit with lost sales for that goofy Ford promotion.

? You can't write off a significant portion of your vehicle as a business expense?

At least it looks like an suv, even if it is becoming a glorified focus.

The SRT tows about 7200 if I'm not mistaken. Unless u got a big @$$ boat or tow track cars that's more than enough.

Too bad the SUV it looks like is a Fisher Price copy of a Range Rover.

Knowing that about the SRT may put it on the short list.

I do tow up to 6000 lbs at least once a month, and my boat and trailer plus gear are close to 5500
