Wow...sorry to see this and glad I purchased the lifetime warranty. We have several issues wit Uconnect also on our 2014 Overland. I called Jeep "customer service" and the amazing thing is they know nothing of any problems. I guess this is a standard answer. I love how when we use remote start, climate controls somehow turn off. What's the sense of pre starting when the heat/air does not turn on? Forward collision warning changes itself from near to far... A ghost must be doing this as I sure am not changing it. Active breaking ... Checked on... Then I looked a few days later and the ghost now unchecked it... Great safety feature if it turns itself off without you knowing. Lastly, still no update on when we will get the suspension entry/exit selection to actually show up on the Uconnect screen as promised and indicated 4 different times in 3 different Jeep manuals. To your problem I feel terrible for you... My opinion, if you need one replaced you should get one before they put a new one in a new vehicle. Not sure what model you have but if my Uconnect went totally out like yours on my Overland, I am not sure it would be worth driving.

Tell the dealer to pull if from another car on the lot - I had a defective tail light and due to the backorder they pulled it from a new one. Reading these threads, almost seems every dealer should have a spare on the lot for parts

That was my first thought.

Then I remembered driving my CJ-5 which had pull levers for vents, a speedometer not far from where that UConnect display is, and a plate where a radio would go.

Have we really progressed? After the last couple weeks' experiences, I really have to wonder.
