2014 JGC Limited V6 RWD Clunk At Low Speeds
I have a 2014 Limited RWD V6 with the 20" wheel option if that matters. ( Under 7000 miles ) I have noticed a sound coming from what seems to be the rear driver side area.
The noise is like a clunking sounds when I accelerate slowly from a stopped position ( think bumper to bumper traffic stop and go stop and go routine ) I hear it in both reverse and drive. I also hear it when going over bumps I think or I can be making myself believe I do. For sure I hear it from stop and go motion.
Any insight? I had a 2012 Grand Cherokee that had what seemed like rough and hard suspension after about 18 months but this is different. Feels fine just hear it .
The other issue I hear is at low speeds , seems like after accelerating and taking foot of gas. It almost sounds like a timer ticking like 4 or 5 ticks and then a louder tick . Hard to explain but sounds like its coming from the left side of the steering wheel on the underside of the dash. Any insight on this would be appreciated as well.
