Re: 2014 Overland - A loss for words....
I just wanted to update everyone on where things are at with my Jeep. Since they replaced the transmission it seems to be working the way it is supposed to. It hasn't shown me any signs that there is a imminent problem in the future.
The issues I had with the radio have been resolved as well. I had several issues, My text messages would take 15 minutes to show up on the display, my USB drive would show duplicate names and my SD card completely failed and would not play at all. They replaced the radio with a new one and to the best of my knowledge everything appears to work as intended. My text messages show up shortly after the phone is found and available, my SD card as well as the USB drive work.
They also resolved the remote start issue where it would turn off the auto setting after you got in and pushed the start button. The issue with the raising of the air suspension seems to have been resolved although I still get a random message in the evic advising that the air suspension system is cooling down for some reason?
I will say though that although it has been a cumbersome process at best, it appears that Chrysler is going to take care of me. I have been approved for a lifetime maxcare warranty on the vehicle. I was also told that this does not exclude me from a possible buyback if issues continue with the Jeep.
Now that things are stabilizing I think that it is going to be a great vehicle. I really do enjoy driving it and even considering the issues I have had it is the best vehicle I have ever owned.
