Re: 2014 Overland Buzzer Sound while driving

I just did a quick look from the pedals up, from under the hood down through the steering column and from under the car where the column meets the drag link and couldn't find it.

Doesn't seem to be on direct line of sight. I'll look again tomorrow. Kudos to the tech that pinpointed it.

1- Lean by the pedals looking up
2- Remove the carpet cover by carefully unclipping the two plastic fasteners (careful: do not pull all the way because it has cables attached)
3- Reach out with a 10mm socket using an 8 inch extension (or 2 x 4" extensions) since it is a bit up there
4- Unscrew the bracket (it resembles a number 4 as in Tom's pic)

We shall name it "Rattle number 4"?

Is that bracket close to fire wall?

Not that close. Place your head btw the brake pedal and the code reader and then look up slightly towards the right of the steering wheel.

Look at my pic for guidance.

Dumb question I suspect, but no need to put that bolt back is there? I removed the bracket and did not look like it was needed to hold anything else.

That is definitely it! I just found it too thanks to the previous posts. Check out this video I made... Like was mentioned, 5 minutes, a 10mm socket, and the noise is gone! Thank you, it was getting to be super annoying!
