2014 Overland shows "needs maintenance" on several systems
It's starting to get cold in the Northeast and I'm wondering if that's what may have cause some strange behavior with the main dash cluster.
When I started it cold, every idiot light came on fir its diagnostics, like it usually does, but several stayed lit. Also, in the center of the dash, it showed that some systems required maintenance including the airbag, traction control, and air suspension.
Also, none of the speed gauges worked, including the speedometer (I use the digital numbers, as opposed to the analog-style gauge), the cruise control, or any of the MPG stats.
The vehicle has 8800 miles on it, and is at 12% left on its oil life.
I took it for a 5 mile drive to a local store, shut it off and when I restarted it, the same thing occurred. When I got home, I let it sot for 20 minutes or so, and went outside to try it again. The temp gauge showed 1/4 and the idiot lights went off, except for the engine light in the upper-right. There also weren't any required maintenance lights.
The electronics on this vehicle seem twitchy. I have see the 911 maintenance required on the UConnect that a few others have seen, as well as, the resetting of radio presets, even with the 13.19.0 upgrade. But this dashboard "glitch" has me a bit worried. What other electronic nightmares am I going to face over the life of this vehicle?
