Re: 2014 Quadra-lift: "easy entry" option not appearing on UConnect menu?

Sweet??? Until it automatically lowers down and scratches the heck out of your front air dam or fascia. Or puts a rock into your underside. Who ya going to blame? Poor idea that will not get implemented I bet.

I don't recall if it was Milous or Willx who stated, in the past couple of days, that it is on track to be implemented for MY14. They didn't know if existing models would get the capability.

I understand the concern about lowering onto something. But it only lowers the vehicle 1.5 inches. I think most folks who park over something that is 7" high would probably, on occasion, run over something anyway.

I had mentioned that I don't think it will auto park from an off road mode... That would get Jacko in trouble... Speaking of which, does your wife know you are off road with 7" obstacle... I recall there being a rule?

Rules were meant to be broken.

I park over many curbs in the city and if I put the Jeep in park mode sometimes the black plastic piece gets caught up on the curb. Sucks when you back out of the spot and hear it catching wondering if I just ripped the lower valance off.

Haha, funny but not, so in your case it would change nothing

Personally I was glad when they said they weren't doing it because I didn't want to hear about people removing their lower facias automatically... Then of course I heard about this

Yeah lol I think I'm going to have to install some running boards tired of watching people step on the door sill when getting in already a few scratches. All the running boards do for me is get my pants dirty.

All I can saw is I'm glad the little lady doesn't read the forum, so what she doesn't know won't hurt me!
