These however are the same dealers who tell you a TSB software update is not yet available even though you have the printed copy of it in your hand. There in lies the problem.

I understand what you are saying from a dealer standpoint Wiil, but I mean this from a corporate engineering and planning standpoint. They (jeep corporate) knew these things were going to be released in the 14s long ago I guarantee it. Whether or not they choose to advertise or publish that way is another story. I fully understand dealerships are often as out of the loop and ignorant as we are sometimes. at the top of the food chain corporate profit and share price is all that matters always remember that. Anyway like I said I have beat this to death enough, no more sour pus lol. Getting ready to take a trip in the jeep this weekend. have a good one

I was guessing that since I read the option existed for 2011-2013 models that it was just a software fix they were working on for the new QL system in the 2014s and was taking time to roll out. That's too bad a promised feature is missing from some builds, I know if was an owner of a build missing that feature and wanted that feature I would still call Chrysler, it may accomplish nothing but some times a company offers alternatives to compensate for a missing feature.

Thanks for the information, your (and others) posts are why I specifically looked for an August 2014 build.

I don't think it did exist before? I don't recall there being an easy entry option in the 2011-13s? I could have missed it but it certainly was not in the radio control software back then?

Maybe you are confusing the easy entry / exit seat?

Maybe that's it and I confused them. BTW I have seen that easy seat option and have wondered what it does but haven't played with it.

It runs the seat backwards and down so that taller persons or people who have issues bending their knees can get in and out of the seat sooner.

Is this really that big of a deal? I mean would you really want it doing this everytime you shut it off. All this is to me is extra wear on the air suspension. It is not at all uncommon to have changes and improvements made along the way. I am sure on the 2015 some change or a feature or two will be added that we don't have now. Its just the way it is and by the way they are not public yet so at this point there is no share price to worry about.

I see where both of you are coming from. I will not be using it only from the stand point I park near a lot of high curbs and I really only want it when the wife is using it or on weekends when we go places. So for me I will just hit the button on approach as needed.

Put me in sorry I can't get this feature camp. Yes I would want it to auto lower every stop since my wife is under 5' tall it would be very helpful since we forget to push the down button. Oh well guess I gotta remember to push the darn button.

Re: 2014 Quadra-lift: "easy entry" option not appearing on UConnect menu?

I think that once people remember to push the button, it makes more sense than waiting until the car is in park for the car to lower. We have people who can't stand the wait for the liftgate to open, I doubt they will sit still without opening a door while the car drops an inch and a half.

When going home it's become easy to remember. I hit the down button and the garage door button together. By the time I'm up the driveway the car is lowered. Still having trouble remembering at other times.

I'm with Bill on this. Quicker and more convenient to do it myself.
