Having to press the button to raise it after going into sand mode doesn't bother me. The crazy part is that when starting the Jeep to leave, the Select Terrain defaults to auto, while the Quadra Lift remains in OR1. When I select sand mode the car lowers to NRH and I have to raise it again.

I found this curious also, I was going to ask here if normal drive hight was the default for sand mode. I also don't mind having to press the button, I do think it is curious.

If you are referring to the easy/entry exit, then the manual is right for vehicles being produced starting in August. Vehicles before that do not have the feature, even though the manual contained information on that feature.
