No not at all. Very minor feature tweaks and fixes (one of those being channel presets). Also a couple of cell phone Bluetooth fixes again very minor things. 13.19.0 is the stable release.... 13.19.5 is simply a patch which may or may not ever get released public.

They tend to skip a bunch of releases that were in production and only publicly release fully stable updates. Pretty standard way of doing agile development.

I want to see someone receive a vehicle with the new version so I can check some things.

Re: 2014 Radio Needs Service Question

I've been following the various uconnect threads and I am still a little confused on this particular Phone requires service fix.

My jeep was built 6/22, came factory with 13.19.0... I should have a "good", recent radio then, not an early build.

I have received the message a few times as well as the mirror red light.

I also had the drivers seat decide to start moving on it's own on entry (never programmed the fobs yet) and also lost presets once so far (went to some default ones, no idea where they came from, not local stations). Factory order with 8 miles when I took delivery, so i doubt anyone set anything...

I don't think I need a new radio based on when it was built, seems that 13.19.0 is still a little buggy.

Called the dealer once about the phone message and they had no idea what I was talking about... have not had it happen in almost two weeks now so maybe it healed itself.

I'm with a few others in that I would rather not have any dealer completely pull my dash apart unless 100% necessary.

Interestingly enough, Uconnect issues for the most part haven't been a problem for me (early build). However, last week all our presets were lost at some point, including driver mirrors/seat. I had updated to 13.19.0 maybe two or three weeks ago and everything was working fine.

So I set up all the presets again, but now the Park Sense setting won't "stick" anymore, and I can't connect to the Uconnect store and all my apps are gone.

Oh well. Chrysler will be owning this thing again in two to three weeks. Not going to even bother with the dealer this time.

The radio issues are related to certain radios built by the radio manufacturer prior to June 12th 2013 ( not the vehicle). Due the the timeframe 1 of 2 things may be your solution.... try reloading 13.19.0 again if you have not done this (I had a factory build from the week prior to yours that needed this).

Or it needs a radio. Definitely try the update first though, even though you have the same version.

Thanks for the clarification. That makes more sense now... I can see how maybe mine might be on the cusp, depending on how just in time the supply chain is and where the radio is coming from (assuming overseas).

have not tried to reload and it is behaving at the moment... but if I get the message again I'll go that route.

Seat happened Sunday afternoon, 7/21. Presets I noticed a couple of days later ... they have to be broadcasting OTA updates, there is no other explanation.

The presets is the only confirmed issue I see talked about with 13.19.0 but it has been there all along.

There have been various issues with seat position recall but these SEEM to be more related to the seat module TMK.

either way, try the reload before visiting a service department. I did a whole right up on how I received a factory 13.19.0 that the VR did not work and the NAV was slow to respond (like older software versions). The reload fixed it.

I want to stress that if anyone has a radio that was built prior to June 13, it does not automatically mean that it is bad. The units that are no good simply will not take some of the updates properly and they will clearly do some stupid things... only those units need to be replaced (people who post Symptoms that I believe are related I have refered to a service department).

Re: 2014 Radio Needs Service Question

Like you said earlier, for something to happen, something has to happen.

it's just strange how several people who have been trucking along problem free tend to report odd, isolated issues popping up at about the same time out of seemingly nowhere.

Kinda like Windows right after an automatic update .... I'm still feeling the effect of the IE 10 auto upgrade to my user base and it's been a couple months now...

At any rate, downloading the file to have at the ready. Appreciate your advice and making the files available.

HAHAHAHA....LMFAO.

spent a lot of time helping dealers uninstall that virus! To the point it could be prerecorded on my v-mail.

One asked if he could be compensated from Microsoft... my answer was "good luck with that"
