Well they want me to bring truck in on Monday so they can have a Chrysler tech look at it...it took the grand cherokee splash screen a few minutes to go away after a remote start...then key on so I didn't have a speedo until splash screen went away... Do I dare let them keep the truck? I don't trust these dealerships and don't wanna be out of a truck ...

I happen to know for a fact the software will be released before the apocalypse.

So does this mean you have inside information on the apocalypse start time?

Seriously thanks for the updates on what fixes/updates are coming for our JGC.

Will any updates? They said either they take the truck and test ...god knows how long that would take....or I wait it out..as of now I have no presets in seats the radio is borderline being ripped out and thrown onto the highway...and I have no exit seat steering wheel settings...I'm wondering if I reflash the update from the VIP section and see if it band aids it?

Reloading often fixes many issues and Chrysler has released information to that affect to the dealers. As for release dates, get very wishy washy information that it is "October sometime"

I will try it and see I know that the version I did from the VIP was ok not perfect but that to be expected...once the dealer reinstalled it all went downhill

Re: 2014 Radio Needs Service Question

I had my radio replaced for the second, screen went blank last week and they ordered a new radio.

I now have version 13 29 8 and when resetting everything I now have auto entry/exit under the suspension settings which wasn't there before.

When I select it and go back it is unchecked.

I don't believe it will work on a vehicle that didn't have it from the factory, even if the new software shows the option.

Jacko is correct.... likely a future update will get rid of the check box. The option requires a different suspension module and some components.
