2015 JGC - Xenon Auto headlights not working

I'm having a strange issue. After I got my TSB's for saving my last known preference for the ECO mode and flashing the up-shifting transmission issues, my automatic lights don't see to work when the lever/knob is on 'A'.

- The interior lights along the center console, courtesy lights, pretty much everything is just off.

- The xenon headlights are also not on.

I've tried restarting my car, making sure i'm in a proper environment (i was in a parking lot with minimal lighting as well as a highway), but nothing seems to work.

The only way I can get my headlights to turn back on is to turn the lever/knob to the next setting.

Is this some kind of electronic issue that can be fixed with another TSB? And yes, I know the solution from some guys may be to just manually turn the lever every night and not be lazy, but I'd rather not do that in a car that has the automatic feature.

Thanks!

Re: 2015 JGC - Xenon Auto headlights not working

The round dial next to the light switch controls the interior lights. Try rotating it up
and the interior lights should come on.

The sensor for the headlights automatically coming on is on the top of the dash under the plastic cover. My guess is that it is broken because it doesn't take too much darkness for the lights to come on in my experience...

The round dial next to the round dial you're talking about controls the headlight settings as well. 'A' means it's on auto so your lights turn on and off based on that dial. The one right next to it with a circle means that you're turning your lights on (I believe).

I'm aware of the interior light verticle dial. It does turn on my interior lights, but the blue outline led should come on with the 'A' setting.

Thanks

My mistake, I didn't read your sentence about the interior lights correctly.
There was a problem with the LED lights with the first 2011 models that required a
TIPM function to be enabled so that might be something to pursue especially since
you just had some updates applied.

no problem. thanks for that advice. I don't see a 2015 model possibly having issues from/since a 2011 vehicle, but I contacted my service advisor. Kinda hard to reproduce since it started working this morning in a parking garage and tonight as well. I haven't touched any settings at all since yesterday.
