Any time. I had to hunt for that in there... I only found it quickly because I had seen it about a week ago. I was expecting it to be in a different section of the manual (and the index doesn't really provide much help for that).

Re: 2nd Key FOB battery died

OK Whats the trick to get to the battery? Do I pull it apart after sliding out the key?

Thanks, and sorry if this was answered already.

When you slide out the key, there's a little notch visible on the left side of the uncovered area (if you're looking at the bottom of the fob). Stick the point of the key in there and use it as a lever. It will pop the shell part without much force needed. The rubber keys and circuit board may still be covering the battery with the shell removed, but you can pull it right off, uncovering the battery cell.

I just tried it for the first time, it's very simple. Much easier than an old Nissan fob I had that required a precision screwdriver.

Re: 2nd Key FOB battery died

Thanks, It Worked. I was being too cautious because the dealer made it a point to tell me how much these cost. +1 for the detailed response.

This must be a manual I do not have. I have a "Users Guide" which has info on the Speed Control on pages 25-28.

It's in the "full" manual that must requested from Jeep. You can also download it as a PDF from Jeep.com and put on your various mobile devices that support it, which is what I did.

It's also on the CD-ROM that came with the vehicle.
