so far also so good
done city driving, heaps of country drives towing a jayco swan camper and 4wd'ing in 44'c in the lancelin sandunes idling with a/c on! (young daughters!)
thing is better on fuel than i thought it would be so overall.........
no complaints!

On a Wrangler forum a Jeep dealer has reported a bad batch of sparkplugs (cracked insulators) were sent out on some JK's. The problem showed up as a loud ticking and eventually some codes were thrown. Some vehicles with these problems had a head replacement, and it fixed the problem they say. However this particular dealership found the bad plugs and replacing the bad plugs solved the problem.

So...if you experience these symptoms, maybe a simple replacement of the spark plugs on the offending head could be a big relief and simple fix for 3.6 owners.

My CEL came on today. Brought it to the dealer and it came up with a #6 cylinder misfire. Googled Pentastar cylinder misfire and now I am not feeling so hot. I'm praying it is a coil, dirty injector or something similar.

I wish you the best! They will start with plugs, then coils and then injectors but my guess is it will be just like the rest. Head replacement. Head replacement isnt a big deal either. They never did tell us what caused the bad valve. Thing is with us they tore ours apart and ended up waiting on backordered tools and parts and we were without our jeep for over 60 days.
