Re: 3.6 Overland - Shudder? while in idle but driving in a parking lot
Update: Finally went into the dealer. At first I thought this was going to be a waste of time while talking to the guy at the front desk. Every symptom I described he refered to as normal. I was getting very frusterated until he asked me if I had time to drive it with a mechanic. I jumped on that but was worried I would have difficulty recreating it with a warm engine.
We went for a test drive in the parking lot and I was able to recreate the issue from a stopped scenerio slowely giving the car steady throttle as if I was pulling out of a parking spot very slowely. The Mechanic told me this was not a mechanical issue but probably something related to the programming of the transmission module. He reffered to this as a Low speed hesitation. I should have wrote down exactly what he said.
In my report its stated as: a)customer states when under very light throttle in parking lots, can feel a jerking sensation. b) Customer states when crusing around at 20 mph then gas let off there is a feeling of holding back or pulling back.
They applied a flash update for this concern and flashed the TCM (no flash number was listed) One flash update was listed to resolve both a and b.
They also applied rrt 10-079 (shock mounts) , 11-016 (power lift gate) 11-002 (exhaust leak - ordered parts)
Both problems A and B listed appear to be resolved...... :-)
