Unhappy 4WD settings not set to Manual

Hi,

I own a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited edition.

Recently I noticed that the 4WD options on the center panel are no longer working. Today I brought it to a mechanic and it seems they don't know how to turn it on again.

On the dash panel, I see that the setting is on Auto, but I can't figure out from reading the Owners manual how to turn it back to the manual settings.

Is this a bug? Do I need to take it to the dealer, or is there some trick that I am missing?

Thanks!

Not sure what the question is, as there is no "manual" setting. It is full time AWD. You mean the Sport, Snow, Rock, etc modes don't work? 4Low doesn't work?

Re: 4WD settings not set to Manual

Which 4wd system do you have? I think QuadrTrac is fully automatic while the QuadraTrac II is automatic until you switch to 4 wheel low.

This link might help;

Yes, what I mean is that the Snow, Sport, etc. settings don't work. I turn the knob and nothing happens...
