Re: 9 Oct 2012 Status of Load Leveling shocks

The dealer just called and said the shocks arrived, and I have an appointment to have them installed this Friday. I will update as to exactly which part number they install. The service advisor did not know if these are identical to the original shocks or a redesigned part. He did say that Chrysler is aware of the issue and a TSB will be out before the end of the year, and that Chrysler appeared to be purposely delaying the TSB to allow those that have been waiting patiently for the shocks and to fill the parts pipeline (hinting that they expect a "flood" of complaints once the TSB is issued - "as usual").

Re: 9 Oct 2012 Status of Load Leveling shocks

I just got back from the dealership and they told me there was a star case about the load leveling shocks and they are in the process of redesigning them. They did not replace mine even though they said they are at fault. Should I call Chrysler or just wait it out ?

I just got the same message from my dealer, but just after I had my SLS shocks replaced.
