AC Vent moving on its own

Anyone else having a problem with their AC vent position moving to the extreme left or right when the air is blowing at its highest fan speed? It seems that the controls are too loose for the powerful fan motor. When its hot I like it blowing directly on my face and I have to hold it in the position to keep it there. Worried about bringing it in and having the techs dent/imprint my dash taking the vents apart. Anyone with this issue?

My vents don't move at all, even with the fan at top speed.

Re: AC Vent moving on its own

Same here. Seems to only be the vent on the left side of the radio.
I had the bezel panel off the other day when running a few wires. Forgot to check the vent during all that.

Re: AC Vent moving on its own

If I get some time at the shop tomorrow, I'll pull mine down and see if I can come up with a fix.

Same issue here. The vent to the right of the steering wheel.

Re: AC Vent moving on its own

I've had the same issue in the same location (left of radio). glad it's not just me. I thought i was going a little crazy or something and seeing things. I also have an issue with my rearview mirror dropping. I find myself adjusting it every few days or so.
