Re: ACC/FCW Unavailable

what bill said ^^^^

maybe the frame it pops into was malformed or is warped...I bet it fell out and a passerby was nice so you knew it fell off...a loser bump and run would not be so conscientious...maybe the malformed/warped receiver section gets hot from sun, expands and releases its grip on the ring?

I would not glue unless the dealer fix means something you want to avoid..let them glue it then they own it...

It snaps in fine. I even gave a little tug once it's in and it didn't move. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Haven't had any issues till today. I was driving over a grated draw bridge (hate them, the car feels like it's sliding all over the place) and once I was over the bridge and back on smooth pavement the wipe sensor warning came on. Then it corrected itself after two minutes. Was wondering if a bump like that can cause the warning to come up? Sensor is loose? Is it just a matter of tightening it with a screw driver or it's not that simple?

Re: ACC/FCW Unavailable

If the sensor is loose you will see the unavailable message. It's easy enough to test it
by just trying to move it with your hand. You don't have to force it, if the bolt/screws are loose it will be easy to move. If it is loose then tightening it will resolve the problem.
