I just did that. I made it easy for the service writer: I picked one of the problems that the TSB resolves, complained about it, and mentioned the TSB that fixes it. That avoided the "is this necessary?" argument.
(Specifically, I told him that I can't voice-command a phone call while driving at freeway speeds when the cabin is noisy, which is true; some knucklehead decided to conflate the DIAL and CALL commands and allow a name or phone number after either. Big mistake: I would say "Call Jeanie" and it would respond "Call 33?" The new software separates these commands again so it won't look for a number after CALL.)
