Air Con Temp Settings

Hi Guys, got a weird thing happening with my Jeep GC MY14 and wondering if any of you have seen similar. Basically the temperature that the system is set to (driver and passenger) changes each time the car is restarted. So as an example if the driver and passenger are set to 23 degrees Celsius when the car is restarted it might default back to 21 degrees. Sometimes the ventilated drivers seat will start too even though it wasn't on previously. Dealer "recalibrated" system last week but it's still happening. Any thoughts or similar issues? I don't think it relates to the air con TSB that is published.

Same thing happening to my 2014 JGC SRT. The temp goes back to 21 or 20 sometimes. The Auto will blow air from the defrost and feet, not the normal functioning AUTO. Sometimes when I start my car the A/C starts at a very high speed.

Please let me know if you found a solution.

Re: Air Con Temp Settings

Same here. I found the ventilated seats came on with the aircon when I returned to the car and it was warm. I thought the system may activate the ventilated seats with the aircon when it is warmer to cool down quickly...

I don't think it is a fault. I think it's the climate control aspect to help you cool down quicker.

Re: Air Con Temp Settings

The same thing is happeneing with my '14 laredo heat.

its freezing outside, but my GC insists on dropping the temparature every time I start it.

EX: set it to 26 degress. Shut the vehicle off, wait 5 minutes, restart, temp is at 23 or 24. Shut it off again, wait 5 minutes, restart, temp is now at 21, etc...

Brought it to the dealer, they said the recall for the cluster lights fixed it. Same problem still continues...

Re: Air Con Temp Settings

I have same problem. I asked the dealer and the answer was that it should keep last temperature. I found that if temp is set below 21 then is not changed - I set it to 19 C and it was all the time until changed myself, the problem occurs only when 22 C and above is set.
